January 2019

I remember feeling a little down at the start of the year, because our apartment-hunt was not making any meaningful progress: This and the previous month hardly even listed any fitting flats on the usual websites and it felt like we were stuck in this small temporary apartment for the foreseeable future.

Anyhow… – documentary photos were taken regardless. All day-to-day stuff: winter impressions; life at home; outside on walks with Zoe. I got a wisdom tooth removed; Dad came for a visit and we cleared out his storage.

Zoe’s first photo. I helped with aiming, exposure and focus, but she looked through the viewfinder and pushed the shutter button.

There’s always some nonsense to do.

Her typical winter outfit.

Got to keep my pulled wisdom tooth.

Making darkroom prints is always a welcome pastime during winter.
